Roller Garage Doors
For those that are concerned about space or just simply want a garage door that is compact and discreet, a roller garage door is the ideal option.
Pros
They can be installed into a range of garage openings of different shapes and sizes, have devices added for extra security, and offer effective insulation.
Cons
The design for this type of door is limited to horizontal lines. However, you can still choose between a selection of colours, and synthetic woods such as laminate mahogany and rosewood can give a natural look.

Up and Over Garage Doors
An up and over door is a single panel that swings on hinges. They provide excellent security and are straightforward to use.

As well as security and simplicity, they come in a range of materials (wood, for example) and designs, are adaptable for automation and can fit any sized garage.

The door swings outwards, meaning you will need a clear space of around seven feet in front of it for a safe opening.
Sectional Garage Doors

Side Hinged Garage Doors
Side hinged doors open up like double doors and are ideal for a traditional and personal look.

They provide easy access, which is optimal for garages that are used regularly.
Cons
Side hinged doors are slightly more expensive and have a restricted width.
Automated Garage Doors
Automated doors can be remotely opened for convenience, and most types of garage doors are able to be installed or upgraded in this way.
Pros
An automated garage door can provide a quicker entrance and exit to your garage without even having to get out of your car, which improves safety and security.
Cons
Automatic features are more costly and will sometimes require maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
